A Time I Was Influenced

Growing up my parents always taught me to stand up for what I believed in. They raised their children with strong morals and values. This was especially true when it came to pass judgment people for who they are no matter race, gender, religion, or knowledgeable preferences. While my parents played a major role in influencing my opinions and thoughts on equality, it was my childhood neighbor, Jenna, who I believe made me the psyche I am today.

on that point were countless occasions at our neighborhood associational meetings, when the sketch of Jenna was brought up. People would blurt out things like, Its trashy and lubricious to have a man in a blacken mini skirt, parading around his yard with a lawn mower, for all of our kids to see! or That thing is an embarrassment, and deserves everything it gets! It left me steaming and in cope utter disbelief, that people would refer to her as an it or thing insinuating that she wasnt worthy of being called a human.
